Is It Worth It?

The outbreak of Ebola has been horrible. Not only has it killed thousands, but it is also starting to spread. Now the outbreak is starting to affect sporting events held in Africa. Teams have been refusing to play in places and will not let certain teams play against them.
Knowing how dangerous the disease is myself I wouldn't want to play against these teams either. I have nothing against them, but I would not want to risk my life by playing somewhere or against a team that could potentially carry the virus. This problem can easily be solved by changing the area of the game. Also who would want to travel to an Ebola infected area to watch a soccer game that might be televised and they could watch it from the safety of their home. This would effect their profit in a very negative way. What would you do in this situation?

  1. Amauri, I really like the topic you chose. However, there a couple of things that you could change. One of the bigger errors I see would be the font color, for the color that you chose blends with your background. Also, you need to indent your first paragraph. But besides these minor errors, it was great! You sir, need to keep up the good work. I can tell that you have big plans in your future.

    1. Hello fellow classmate, i would like to start out by saying how incredible your blog actually is. Im am completely aware of the Ebola issue but I didn't know about the African teams refusing to play. As an athlete my self I could understand their reasoning to not to continue. But i also have a question for you. do you think that they should play or refuse to compete? As a fellow athlete your self, would you continue to play, or jeopardize your health.

  2. This topic is quite interesting my friend. I have heard lots about the Ebola outbreak but I didn't know it was hindering the health of athletes. I personally think that the teams should not risk the chance of getting this terrible virus. But, I would like to know if you would stay and play, knowing the health risks your taking, or would you leave and jeopardize your career in the long run? Mr. Rushin made a great point, your blog is great Amauri. :)
